The best way to tend to your Bees and Flowers is to tell them your heart.

Pricing can vary depending on location, project size, and materials required.

While I offer a range of services, you have the freedom to choose the service or combination of services that best suits your vision.

I’ll work closely with you to create a personalized, sustainable garden experience.

Pollinator Garden Design & Maintenace**

  • $200-$500 for design services (based on garden size, does not include materials. plants, etc.), $50-$100 per hour for maintenace services


Cutting Flower Garden Design & Maintenance**

  • $200-$500 for design services (based on garden size, does not inslude materials, flowers, etc.), $50-$100 per hour for maintenance services


Backyard Beehive Installation**

  • $300-$800 for hive installation and initial bee colony setup, (based on number of Hives, does not include equipment or bees), $100-$200 per hour for ongoing beekeeping consultation services.

*Initial Consultation:

  • I’ll meet with you to discuss your vision for the garden, preferences for certain pollinator plants and design style, and any specific requirements (e.g., water-wise plants, pet-friendly plants, etc.)

*Site Assessment

  • Evaluate the garden space, taking into account factors such as sunlight exposure, soil quality, and any existing plants.

*Plant Selection

  • Choose a variety of native, pollinator-friendly plants that will provide blooms throughout the growing season.

  • Consider plants with different flower shapes, sizes, and colors to attract a diverse range of pollinators.

*Garden Design

  • Create a garden layout that incorporates the selected plants, and consider the needs and growth patterns of each species.

  • We’ll use design principles like color theory, texture, and height to create a visually appealing and functional garden.

*Planting plan

  • I’ll develop a detailed planting plan that includes the number of plants needed, spacing requirements, and any necessary soil amendments or mulching.

*Maintenance recommendations

  • I’ll provide guidance on caring for the garden, including watering, pruning, deadheading, and pest management.

*Initial Consultation & Site Assessment

  • We’ll discuss your preferences, desired flowers, and color schemes as well as analyze the available space, soil conditions, sunlight exposure, and climate considerations

*Custom Garden Design

  • Create a custom garden design tailored to your vision and the specific characteristics of your site and select your favorite cutting flowers that provide a balance of beauty, variety, and longevity with the consideration of pollinator-friendly plant choices to support local ecosystems

*Plant selection and Sourcing

  • I’ll collaborate with local nurseries and growers to source high-quality, healthy plants that thrive in your region and choose a diverse selection of cut flowers, including annuals, perennials, and bulbs, to ensure continuous blooms throughout the growing season

*Garden Installation

  • I’ll prepare the site by removing weeds, amending the soil, installing any necessary irrigation systems, planting flowers according to the design plan, ensuring proper spacing and planting techniques, provide recommendations for mulching, staking, and other support structures for optimal growth

*Maintenace and Care Guidance

  • Provide detailed instructions on the proper care and maintenance of the cut flowers, offer recommendations on watering, fertilization, and pest control using organic and sustainable methods

  • Discuss best practices for harvesting and arranging flowers to ensure their longevity and beauty

  • I can consult on flower arranging techniques and design and share knowledge on the best varieties of cut flowers for bouquets, arrangements, and DIY projects.

Backyard Beehive Installation

*Consultation & Site Assessment

  • We will go over your interest in Beekeeping, goals, and concerns you may have

  • Asses the property to determine the best location for the hive, consider factors such as sunlight exposure, accessibility, and proximity to water sources

*Hive Type selection & Preparation

  • I will guide you in selecting the appropriate hive type based on your preferences, budget, and the needs of the bee colony

  • I will provide resources on necessary hive components and protection gear for your level of comfort

*Bee Colony Acquisition & Installation

  • I will assist in sourcing healthy, locally adapted bees from reputable suppliers, unless we can catch a swarm!

  • I will install the colony in a prepared hive, ensuring the safety of both the bees and us

*Beekeeping Education

  • I will offer comprehensive beekeeping education, including best practices for hive management in a more holistic fashion.

  • Discuss the importance of hive observance including pest and disease management

*Ongoing Support & Consultations

  • I will provide regular check-ins, weather permitting, to observe the progress and address any questions or concerns

  • Offer additional services, such as hive inspections, seasonal support, and best practices for honey harvesting

  • Encourage pollinator-friendly plants and flowers that ensure a continuous supply of nectar and pollen and garden design strategies to support the health and productivity of the bee colony
